Sonar / noise could not harm whales / marine life

Leaky septic tanks and fertilizer runoff could be prevented to provide seagrass to manatees

Fishing gear could be biodegradeable

Land and sea could be rewild-ed

The Japanese government could be open / effective in dealing with the Fukushima nuclear disaster

Seafood could be made from plants

Sustainable/dolphin-safe seafood labeling could be fake

Foreign industrial fishing trawlers could cause communities to lose livelihoods/food sources

Bottom trawling could not be used by the fishing industry

Scientists/conservationists and fishermen could work together to enable fishing to be sustainable and successful

Chefs could be connected with local fisherman

Sea urchins could be removed to restore kelp forests

Seaweed farming could fight against climate change / regenerate marine ecosystems / create new businesses

Ocean forests could be replanted

Whales and phytoplankton could decrease carbon dioxide in the atmosphere

Insects could be used as animal and aquaculture feed

Micro-fragmenting could rebuild coral reefs

The high seas could be turned into a nature reserve

More ocean areas could be national parks (marine protected areas)

Seismic blasting could be changed to prevent damage to ocean ecosystems

Certain sunscreens could not be used to prevent damage to coral reefs

A floating trash can could suck up litter in water

Ghost fishing gear could be cleaned up in the oceans

Microbeads and microplastics could be banned, limited, or disposed of differently

Governments could end subsidies to deep sea fisheries

Cleaning products, laundry detergents, deodorants/antiperspirants, toothpaste, and air fresheners could be free from harmful chemicals
