U.S. utilities could establish a timeline for lead service line replacement

The National Drinking Water Advisory Council "proposed requiring utilities to establish a timeline for lead service line replacement, rather than waiting until lead reaches dangerous levels in order to replace pipes...(they) also called for stricter guidelines around water testing and corrosion control."
